About us
RM Chambers was founded in 2010 as the professional office of Mr Rouben Mooroongapillay. Inspired by the training received from his pupil master, Mr Gavin Glover SC, Mr Rouben Mooroongapillay developed a keen interest in criminal defence work. He is particularly impelled by the desire to ensure that the constitutional rights of these suspects/accused are adequately protected whilst they were being processed in the criminal justice system.
Over time, the Chambers has also acquired a very rich and active civil and commercial law practice and we have diversified our offerings to help businesses assess and manage their legal risks and exposure, thus acting as a trusted advisor for commercial parties.
